Out in the Snow

During Christmas we spent a day up in Big Bear playing in the snow at our in laws. We had a good time, had a snowball fight, and built a snowman. The dogs took out the child and made him their snow carpet. It was really cold and there was a heck of a lot of snow up there. Driving up was an interesting endeavor with all of the people that had no idea how to actually drive their cars. The Subaru Outback handled going up and down the mountain like a champ. Really enjoy driving that car up and down.

Double Archery Targets

During the holidays I got a new target for our backyard, due to some mishaps with Amazon I ended up getting two. So I decided to modify my target stand to put a supporting beam in the middle and then hang both of the targets one front and one back so that I could shoot on either in my backyard. So this completes my 20 yard archery stand, luckily I live in an area where I can have a clear line of shot in case something goes horribly wrong.

Disneyland for the Holidays

As a family one of our Christmas traditions is to go Disneyland, this year is no different. We tried to choose a day that was hopefully going to have fewer people going, however we managed to choose really badly and by about noon all of the fast passes were out for most of the major rides. We did get to hit our usual holiday favorites and also added another one in the Jingle Cruise. It was a fun day and we had a good time just as a family going out and doing things.

The girls were sitting laying down and being lazy. I liked the way they were sitting and decided to get a shot of them. Sometimes the dogs can be completely uncooperative and a pain to get pictures of.

Diving the rigs for the shootout

I participated in the shootout again this year and dove the rigs to get my shots for submission. Not my best shots and probably not a winner in them, but I decided to submit the best of what I had. Needed to have some more practice before the event and just didn’t make it out this time to be ready for the shootout. Diving the rigs was nice though, 3 really good dives in nice water.

Petition to save Coral Reefs in California

Doves Nesting

Saw these two birds outside of my window while I was working from home one day. It was funny watching the male constantly try to bring back stuff for the nest and for the female bird ignore it and let it fall to the ground. Definitely noticed some passive aggressive tendencies from the female.

I learned some new tricks for editing my underwater photos and put them to work on these two photos. So much happier with the result, now I just need to get out and get some more shots and make some new images.
