Out in the Snow

During Christmas we spent a day up in Big Bear playing in the snow at our in laws. We had a good time, had a snowball fight, and built a snowman. The dogs took out the child and made him their snow carpet. It was really cold and there was a heck of a lot of snow up there. Driving up was an interesting endeavor with all of the people that had no idea how to actually drive their cars. The Subaru Outback handled going up and down the mountain like a champ. Really enjoy driving that car up and down.

Disneyland for the Holidays

As a family one of our Christmas traditions is to go Disneyland, this year is no different. We tried to choose a day that was hopefully going to have fewer people going, however we managed to choose really badly and by about noon all of the fast passes were out for most of the major rides. We did get to hit our usual holiday favorites and also added another one in the Jingle Cruise. It was a fun day and we had a good time just as a family going out and doing things.

Petition to save Coral Reefs in California

This is an important petition thing to help save the coral reefs in California. A one time installation of a buoy can make a world of difference to the reefs.

Saw these two birds outside of my window while I was working from home one day. It was funny watching the male constantly try to bring back stuff for the nest and for the female bird ignore it and let it fall to the ground. Definitely noticed some passive aggressive tendencies from the female.

All of these were shots I took while in Hawaii during the morning. I really enjoyed getting out before everyone was up and taking either my A6300 or just my iPhone and getting some shots in the morning. There seemed to be something magical in the morning that kept me out there and just shooting away. These are some of my favorites. I have some panos that I will be uploading also that look absolutely beautfiul I believe.

Eastvale Dairies – A dying thing

I started this project a couple of weeks and decided to go around and document the dairies in the area. Where I live has been a dairy area for a long time, but as they build more houses more and more of the dairies are leaving and becoming housing. I thought it was important and kind of cool to document what was left and some of the different diaries that were here.

Star Wars Half Marathon

Spent New Years in Big Bear no snow fell, but there was plenty on the ground. The child and I went out and played in the snow and took some shots of the new car out in the snow. Here are some shots taken with the IPhone 6+ while we were out playing. Had a good time throwing snow at each other.
